BRUCE SEGUIN, PRESIDENT, FOUNDER of GOALMAKER, USATF CERTIFIED COACH
Coach Bruce is the founder of Goalmakers Coaching Services. He started running later in life after working in the steel industry for many years. Now in his early 60s, Bruce not only continues to dominate his age group, but also to excel in competition with runners in their 20s. Bruce currently has a streak of running every day for nearly 4 years. He has 50 marathons under his belt, with a personal record of 3:06. His coaching philosophy is life training with a focus on injury prevention. Bruce ran his first marathon (Detroit Marathon) at age 46 and qualified for Boston in his first attempt at 26.2 with a finish time of 3:15. Fast forward 17 years and Bruce is still running marathons in under 3:20 as an elite race professional and member of Patient Endurance Racing team. With decades of running experience and the race times to back it up, Coach Bruce has helped runners at all levels to improve their running, achieve new personal records and help change their lives through a passion for running.
SCOTT FISKE, USATF and RCAA CERTIFIED COACH
Coach Scott is the co-founder of Goalmakers Coach Services, has a Bachelor and Master's Degree in physical education and has a Michigan State Teaching endorsement in physical education and health. As a current member of the USATF and Brooks Hansons yellow team, Scott continues to compete in the very top echelon of over-50 Masters runners, with a personal best in the marathon of 2:44:29, 1:17:16 in the half, 34:45 in the 10k and 16:43 in the 5k. Scott can assist everyone from beginners to elites reach their optimum running goals.
